Been holding my little guy Shaggy and loving on him as much as I can the past few days. He’s been on 3 different chemo treatments and fighting cancer since April. Over the last few weeks, he’s lost a lot of weight from not eating, been falling over, shaking and breathing funny. Only a few hours later after enjoying a beautiful Mother’s Day brunch and taking this pic together, my mom was hit by a drunk driver on PCH while sitting in her parked car. It kills me inside to know that she was only enjoying the beautiful sunset when this horrible accident happened. I can not describe the feeling of being the first person to find out about this. Getting “the call” at 6:30am from the doctor that just spent all night saving her life and informing me that she was in a life-threatening accident the evening before (Mother’s Day), hit by a drunk driver and had been airlifted to the ICU at UCLA Medical Center and is in critical condition felt unreal. The fact that they worked on her all night without even knowing her name and saved her life is a miracle! I’m not posting a lot about this on IG because I want to focus on being there for her because that’s all that matters right now.
The doctors keep reminding us that her recovery will be a marathon, not a sprint. Please keep praying for my moms, as she is still in the icu and in critical condition. There are a lot of immediate financial responsibilities that also need to be covered, so for those of you asking how you can help and/or donate, please help by donating and sharing the link in my bio. Today, Shaggy goes in for a major surgery after discovering a large golf ball size lump on his neck last week. Please pray they get everything out and everything goes well. 🙏🏻 He’s strong and in good spirits, so we are thankful for that! He will be staying at the hospital for possibly 48 hours and should know more later today. Thank you for all the kind messages sent already. It’s been tough, but I know he’s in good hands! 💕🐶💕 .
